  1. May 12,  · Give U the Moon Lyrics: "What is it you want, Mary? / What do you want? / You, you want the moon? / Just say the word and I’ll throw a lasso around it and pull it down / .
  2. The Moon and Sixpence - Initial Thoughts (spoilers) There is a character by the name of Strickland in the book Outerbridge Reach by Robert Stone and all I will say is that there is an action they both take that is very very similar. 11 comments. share. save hide report. 86% Upvoted.
  3. A song, “The Moon and Sixpence,” was written by Harold Miller, with lyrics by Bob Reed, and was a “tuneful, swingy number” widely promoted by the song’s publisher, Music Products. To increase awareness, the studio suggested local radio stations devote a program to native music of the South Seas to market the film’s exotic locale.
  4. "Goodbye Moonmen" is about the cleansing. The lyrics are referring to our voyages to the moon and mankind's desire to "infect" as many other places as possible with our presence. Fart's species sees this as positive proof that we, like all carbon-based lifeforms, are a disease that needs to be eradicated for the good of the universe.
  5. "Goodbye Moon men" Goodbye, we are all dead. Hopefully they feel some regret, doesn't seem like it though. Though Fart did say that if more people were like Morty, we wouldn't be so bad. Ironic huh. So basically, they are hyper advanced assholes (Fart is a good name) who kill all carbon life.
  6. The line between the 1 and the 6 was not known as a slash when £sd was in use: it is a reduced form of a long "s" (for shillings/solidi) and is technically a solidus; further "1/6" was spoken "one and six" or "one and sixpence": see £sd. The form "0/6d" was rarely found, and I know of no authority for it being called a "moon".
  7. Say goodbye to the nice guy I'm wasting my time Giving you rhymes You gotta give me a dime Before I do that again And I ain't trippin I'm high In the trunk of the Benz Is where my women reside Where my women will die I ain't got no friends And I don't listen to y'all I'm equipped for the fall And the winter and all When the summer come.

  9. Goodbye, Moonmen We say goodbye, Moonmen Goodbye, Moonmen Goodbye, Moonmen Oh, goodbye [Fart] Cosmos without hatred Diamond stars of cosmic light Quasars shine through endless nights And everything is one in the beauty And now we say goodbye, Moonmen We say goodbye, Moonmen Goodbye, Moonmen Goodbye, Moonmen Oh, goodbye [Rick] Shut the fuck up Ratings: 1.
